Reviews compare prices on products and will generally give you recommendations on which size of a particular product to buy and which retailer to buy it from for the best value.  The style and design, as well as the energy of the cologne, are also usually captured in review, as factors that are more pop culture in nature appeal to a lot of consumers.  While that may not necessarily be a great way to choose a cologne, it certainly works for a lot of people who would rather be in the “it crowd” for owning that fragrance than buy something they actually like.
